About the Winslow Show

The Winslow Show Association committee plans the Show on a continuing basis.

The committee is made up entirely of volunteers from all walks of life bringing a wide and varied experience to the Show, together with strong support from the Lions Club of Winslow, Winslow Townshhip Rotary Club, Edgcott & Winslow Young Farmers Club, the Scouts and other local organisations.

Many skills are required including administrative and operational skills. Everyone involved offers their time freely for what is a philanthropic event for the benefit of the local residents and deserving local causes and charities.

Chairman Mike Freeman says “Last year’s show was a great success and a great day out for all the family. However we want to build upon that success and make 2008 the best year yet. This is a great opportunity to help your local town and we warmly welcome new members to the committee.”  

He goes on to say “The Winslow Show Association is passionate in its philanthropic role supporting local charities and other worthy causes and speaks for the people it helps locally in suggesting that a permanent open area [not just for the duration of the Winslow Show] for the people in the town and surrounding area is long overdue.”
