Winslow Show Sponsors
Our sponsors help us make it possible to continue to run the Winslow Show every year and in turn help us to help the local community. A list of sponsors, with a clickable link to their website, if they have one, is provided right. Star sponsors who have made a substantial donation or contribution in kind and are therefore deserving of our special thanks are also detailed below. If you wish to make a donation or contribution please do not hesitate to contact us.
The Grenadier Guards
The Grenadier Guards recently made a very kind donation to the Winslow Show and are one of our star sponsors for 2008. Formed in 1656 the Grenadier Guards is one of the oldest British Army regiments, famous for their defeat of The Grenadiers of The French Imperial Guard at The Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Having fought in almost every major British Army campaign since the regiment's formation they are as capable on operational service as they are on duty as the Royal Guard in London. Visit The Grenadier Guards website.
Linford Stables
The Horse Show is a very important part of the Winslow Show and in addition to requiring organisation to ensure it runs smoothly, it also necessitates the hire of equipment. This year Linford Stables has stepped in and very kindly offered to sponsor the hire of a set of show jumps. Linford Stables at Singleborough provides B&B for both horses and human guests, plus training and tuition for horses and riders. Visit Linford Stables website.
Browns of WEM Ltd
When Ted the Clydesdale's appearance at the 2008 Winslow Show was in doubt, as we had nowhere to house him during the day, Browns of WEM very kindly stepped in and offered to loan us a 20x12 ft field shelter to accommodate him. With more than half a century's experience in the design and construction of agricultural, equestrian, industrial, leisure and multi-purpose steel framed buildings and timber buildings, Browns of Wem enjoy a unique reputation for quality, durability and value for money. Visit the Browns of WEM website.
1LG.com
In case you didn't notice, Winslow Show now has a bright, shiny new website, kindly sponsored by Milton Keynes based web design company 1LG.com. We hope you enjoy the new site. Visit the 1LG.com web design website.
