Entertainment for Young & Old

Entertainment includes a horse show, dog show, livestock display, funfair, Magic Martin magician, Punch & Judy, tug of war challenge, "Wheels in Winslow" vehicle display, and last but not least a fancy dress competition with a theme this year of "NURSERY RHYMES". So polish off your prize vehicles and raid your cupboards for some suitable farming style costumes, come along and join in the fun - you never know, you could even win a prize for the best wheeled vehicle or farming fancy dress costume!

Fancy Dress Parade & Competition

Time to put your creative thinking hats on and either on your own or with a group create some nursery rhymes for this years FANCY DRESS PARADE……..

Prizes for groups and individuals - All entrants to meet by the ‘parade ring entrance area’ by 1.15 - Judging and parade 1.15pm – 1.45pm.

Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show

The Lions Club of Winslow in co-operation with Winslow Show are organising the third 'Wheels in Winslow' vehicle display.

On the success of last years' "Wheels in Winslow" event, this year's "Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show" will have a larger area in the showground dedicated to it.

We look forward to seeing all owners of vehicles of interest; be it vintage, cassic, modern, agricultural, two, four or even three wheels! If you're proud of it and it's got wheels - bring it to the Show!

All funds raised from the Classic & Vintage Vehicle Show will go to the Berks, Oxon and Bucks Air Ambulance appeal - a very worthy cause indeed!

We hope to have awards for vehicle classifications, but mainly this is an opportunity to bring your prized vehicle for others to enjoy and to also allow you, your friends & family to enjoy the Winslow Show.

There will be a dedicated parking / display area for these vehicles, to which the public will have free access, to admire the display. Entrance will be off the main route to the main Show car park, manned by Stewards to direct you to the correct display parking area.

Note:Please be aware that the organisers hold no responsibility for the security of your vehicle during the Show.

To Register Your Classic / Vintage Vehicle for the Show

Download & print the application form on the Lions Club of Winslow website and attach it to your vehicle windscreen (if it has one) and you'll be directed to the Classic & Vintage Vehicle parking area on arrival. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.

A fee of £5.00 per vehicle is payable on entrance, which allows the driver + 1 passenger access to all the delights of the Winslow Show.

Trade Stands, Stalls & Refreshments

Come and browse our trade stands & stalls which include a crafts marquee, local organisations, plants, food, crafts, books, antiques, health, clothing, jewellery, art, household, ornamental and refreshments and even a cookery display...

Horse Show

Our ever popular horse show includes show jumping, showing classes and a gymkhana with rosettes for placed riders and trophies for class winners. Our horse show schedule has a class for everyone; from tiny tots on lead rein ponies, to egg & spoon race experts and young, future British team show jumpers...

Livestock Show

Our livestock show, organised by the Edgecott and Winslow Young Farmers, is an chance to see to a variety of farmyard animals you may not normally have the opportunity of getting really close to.

Dog Show

Whether you have a pedigree pooch or a Heinz 57 varieties hound; our dog show schedule is bound to include a class that's perfect YOUR dog. There's even a class for the dog with the waggiest tail...
